The scorching heat is back and however difficult it might get with each passing day, we have to step out for work or for running errands. There’s no respite from that. Having said that, summers can play havoc on your skin if you are not on guard. Starting from tanning, the skin woes can continue up to dry skin, sun-burns, pigmentation, etc. Which these might seem cosmetic issues superficially, it is still important to address these issues even if you are not into the beauty game. Yes, these issues can look superficial initially, but they can cause much deeper and permanent damage. Skin exposure to UV-A and UV-B rays can lead to skin cancer.
Having said that, I have put down a simple guide to stay beautiful and flaunt gorgeous skin this Summer. Keep reading to find out more!
Ditch those heavy foundations/creams

Summer is all about keeping it light and simple. While you might be used to heavy make-up, try to keep it minimal at least during the day; or when you have to be outdoors for a considerable amount of time. Now who wants patchy makeup?
Invest in good quality makeup products

Look for something which has a longer stay and is smudge free. People with oily skin tend to smudge their makeup a lot, especially the eye makeup. Smudge free makeup products are the key.
Sunscreen/moisturizer
Summer doesn’t mean you have to stack away your moisturizer. Just replace with a lighter formula. And sunscreen is a must. If you can find a 2 in 1 product that works for you, its even better. Less is more.
Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate

Hydration is the key. Carry a small bottle of water with you to stay hydrated throughout the day. For skin, use formulas that are hydrating and nourishing.
Load your plate with more fruits and veggies

No matter what you put on the outside, what’s on the inside finally shows up. Try to snack on seasonal fruits and veggies like cucumber, melons, pineapples to get that summer glow.
Limit Your Intake of Caffeine

We all love a steaming cup of coffee. Its wise to limit your intake of caffeine in summers as your body is already depleting water due to the environment, and you wouldn’t want to dehydrate it further,do you?
Finally enjoy your summers! Also, do not forget to let me know your mantra of staying glam in summers.
